TREKKING PINDAYA - KALAW – INLE LAKE 5 days / 4 nights
1st days: Yangon - Pindaya - Kalaw
After a morning flight from Yangon to Heho you will be picked up by our local tour guide and drive 3 hours to Pindaya to visit the sacred cave complex featuring a labyrinth of over 8000 Buddha images made from alabaster, teak, marble, brick, lacquer and cement.
The local Umbrella Factory allows a detailed look at the crafting of the famous Shan paper and the beautiful Burmese umbrellas, which are made of Shan Paper.
In the afternoon you will be taken to Kalaw, a former popular British hill station on the western edge of the Shan plateau. It is a quiet town at 1320m above sea level with an atmosphere reminiscent of the colonial era.

2nd day – 4th day: Kalaw – Inle Lake
After the visit to the local market early in the morning, we will start our trekking through the mountains of the Southern Shan State to Inle Lake. We will pass through about twelve hill tribe villages, inhabited by different tribes such as Danu, Taungyoo and Pao, the most famous tribe of the Shan State. The two overnight stays will be spent in one of these villages. We will provide sleeping mats, sheets and mosquito nets, as well as all meals over the entire hike.

We will reach Inle Lake in the afternoon of the third day, where you will board a boat and be ferried to your hotel on Inle Lake. This boat trip will give you a first glimpse of the charms this famous lake has in store.
1 night stay on Inle Lake.
5th day: Inle Lake - Yangon
After visiting the famous Five-day-market in one of the villages on the lake you will have time to visit a few more sights, such as silk weaving workshops, Cheroot (famous Burmese cigars) production, gold and silver smiths, the Phaung Daw U Pagoda, the holiest religious site in the southern area of the Shan State, or the Nga Phe Monastery ("Monastery of the jumping cats"), before you will be brought to Heho to fly back to Yangon.
