We are happy to arrange parts of your tour to be done by bicycle.

The area best for bicycle tours is Middle Burma with the major destinations Mandalay and Bagan. Bagan is famous for visiting its many temples and pagodas on a bicycle. You can rent local bikes easily nearly at every hotel and ride through the vast area of the Bagan Plain. Additionally, a bike ride from Mandalay to the ancient cities of Amarapura, Ava and the Sagaing Hill, is also interesting and fun. We will be able to provide good mountain/city bikes with advance notice.

If you are interested to take a longer bicycle journey, we suggest riding from Mandalay to Bagan either direct, staying on the east side of the Ayeyarwaddy River or crossing the Ayeyarwaddy River via the famous Ava Bridge from Ava to Sagaing, just south of Mandalay and follow on to Monywa. You can stay two nights in Monywa and visit Thanboday Pagoda as well as the famous Hpo Win Daung Caves , before you continue the next day via Pakkoku to Bagan.

Both routes take into count two full days journey by bike, meanwhile, your luggage will be transported in an adjoining van.
