Malikha Lodge (5*)

The Malikha Lodge has been designed by the world famous architect Jean Michel Gathy of Aman Resorts, creating a feeling of luxury and seclusion in this wilderness setting. The focal point of Malikha Lodge is the main lodge, where guests come to gather around two blazing log fires for drinks, dining or just pure relaxation.

LOCATION: Putao is the most northern town in Myanmar, located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. The Malikha Lodge is the perfect introduction to the Northern Kachin State. The lodge is perched high above the Nam Lang River with glorious views of mountains and rice terraces.

ACCOMMODATION: Each bungalow is a spacious living area with an enormous, handcrafted teak bathtub in its center. Placed discreetly amongst towering bamboo trees, one has the feeling of total privacy and relaxation. A custom made fireplace next to the bath completes the sense of indulgence and luxury, and also provides warmth for the private daybeds outside, where views of distant mountains can be enjoyed through the foliage.
