Shwe Inn Tha Floating Resort (4*)

Opened in 1996 the Shwe Inn Tha Floating Resort is well maintained and offers 37 charming rooms right on the Inle Lake. The centre of the resort houses  is a massive reception and dining hall that features rich teak wood and soaring peaked ceilings with intricate wooden beams.

LOCATION: The resort is located in the centre of the lake, easy for sightseeing. By boat it takes about 40 to 50 minutes from Nyaung Shwe to the resort.

ACCOMMODATION: The traditional cottages with thatched roofs and walls of bamboo mats offer the atmosphere of the local people’s life style.
